Accuracy audit · patch 17.6

What the current Set 17 items actually say

The previous page mixed old item versions with invented Set 17 effects. This audit separates stable item text from live performance data, which changes by rank, region, patch, and sample window.

Corrections made

  • Jeweled Gauntlet is +35% AP and grants Precision. It does not list +20% crit chance in the current item data.
  • Rabadon's Deathcap is +55% AP and 15% Damage Amp. It has no takedown-stacking passive.
  • Precision is a combat keyword, not a Set 17 trait. Ability damage can crit; each additional Precision grants 10% crit damage.
  • Excess crit chance converts to crit damage at 50% value, not one-for-one.
  • Void Staff applies 30% MR Shred for 5 seconds after attack or ability damage. Multiple Shred effects do not stack.
01

Jeweled Gauntlet

珠光护手+35% Ability Power

Gain Precision. Precision allows ability damage to critically strike. Additional Precision grants 10% Critical Strike Damage.

Its value depends on the holder's AP ratios, crit profile, and whether Precision is already supplied elsewhere.

02

Rabadon's Deathcap

灭世者的死亡之帽+55% Ability Power · +15% Damage Amp

The live gameplay data exposes AP: 55 and BonusDamage: 0.15. The flavor-only tooltip can hide the Damage Amp line on some public data pages.

Model both axes: 155 total AP from baseline and ×1.15 Damage Amp before other bonuses.

03

Blue Buff

蓝霸符+15% AD · +15% AP · +5 Mana Regen

Gain 10% additional Attack Damage and Ability Power from all sources.

Because it scales stats from all sources, use the holder's final in-combat AP panel in the calculator.

04

Void Staff

虚空之杖+15% AS · +35% AP · +1 Mana Regen

Damage from attacks and Abilities 30% Shreds the target for 5 seconds. This effect does not stack.

Shred improves magic damage only after it is applied; the first hit's exact timing can be implementation-specific.

05

Striker's Flail

强袭连枷+10% AS · +150 Health

Critical Strikes grant 5% Damage Amp for 5 seconds, stacking up to 4 times.

At full stacks this is 20% Damage Amp, but ramp time and the holder's ability to crit matter.

How to read tactics.tools

Placement, top-four, and win-rate data are observational—not item text and not proof that one item is universally best. Filter by the current patch, rank, and unit, then compare enough games and account for selection bias. The calculator answers a different question: what a stated set of panel values does to one hit.

Sources and freshness

Riot's patch 17.6 page establishes the live version through July 14, with 17.7 scheduled for July 15. Item text was checked on July 13, 2026 against the current Set 17 item data. The live tactics.tools links below should be treated as changing context.
